Massimiliano was born and raised in Catania, Sicily. He started to take photos at twenty, motivated by a strong passion for portraying situations and people related to his life. His journey to a deeper visual knowledge brought him to Rome, to attend the Istituto Europeo di Design where he graduated in photography in 2000. After his graduation he has never stopped figuring his imagination through the camera. Massimiliano has worked since then as freelance photographer for fashion, art and reportage for several Italian magazines and fashion maisons. His personal research draws the different stages of the existence, describing an imaginary reality through memories and through the unconscious.Massimiliano lives and work in Los Angeles, California.
